Trauma + Ministry
Seminaries have not offered training in trauma, though most of ministry is walking with people through trauma. Dr. Nathan White, US Army Chaplain and ordained Anglican priest, will help us begin to get our hands on some really vital tools surrounding ministry and trauma.

About the event
Nathan H. White, Ph.D. is the Associate Dean of the Graduate School for Army Chaplain Professional Development at Fort Jackson, South Carolina, the Executive Director of the Institute for Faith and Resilience, and a U.S. Army Reserve Chaplain. He was awarded the Purple Heart for wounds received while deployed in Afghanistan. Nathan holds a Ph.D. in applied theology from Durham University (UK). His research interests are in theological and scientific understandings of resilience and in theological ethics. He has served in various forms of pastoral ministry around the world for almost 15 years.
With personal, professional and academic experience in both trauma and ministry Nathan has so much wisdom to offer us.
